About the Role

TalentPop is one of the fastest-growing agencies in the E-commerce space that actively helps over 600 E-Commerce Brands including Core Power Yoga, Beyond Meat, and Jaxxon put together an excellent solution for their Customer Service needs by leveraging the best Customer Service talent from all around the world. We are experiencing exponential growth (over 600% in the last year) and are looking for HR associates in the Philippines to join our team. A Junior Human Resources Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing various aspects of the member’s life cycle within an organization. Its primary function is to support the organization’s workforce and ensure that the organization effectively utilizes its human capital to achieve its goals and objectives. The HR department plays a pivotal role in managing the organization’s most valuable asset—its people. By focusing on member development, and ensuring a positive work environment, HR contributes to the success and growth of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Foster positive relationships between members and TalentPop This role is also tasked to create a harmonious and productive work environment by addressing member concerns, conflicts, and grievances.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations is a critical part of this role. The Junior HR specialist for member relations must be well-versed in federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and ensure that HR policies and practices align with these laws to mitigate legal risks for TalentPop.
  • Investigate allegations of misconduct, discrimination, harassment, or other policy violations arise, Junior HR specialist for Member Relations must conduct thorough and impartial investigations. 
  • Be involved in the development and communication of HR policies and procedures and contributes in crafting and revising policies to promote a positive work environment, ensure legal compliance, and address emerging issues. 
  • Provide trainings to members and managers to prevent legal issues and promote a respectful workplace.
  • Collaborate with other HR professionals, legal counsel, and senior management to align HR efforts with organizational goals and strategies. 

Ideal Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Criminal Justice
  • Has worked, and has deep knowledge of the BPO industry, with at least 2 years of experience in the HR department
  • Knowledge and previous experience in HR processes in a BPO company, candidate background checking, employee compensation and benefits, and labor laws
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in using Google Workspace applications specifically Google Sheets, Google Forms, and Canva
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Qualifications

  • Laptop/Desktop with Ryzen 5 or Core i5 processor or higher
  • Stable internet connection (at least 25 Mbps)
  • A backup power and internet connection
